Who We Are & What We Do

The Vancouver Fruit Tree Project is a non-profit society. Our volunteers harvest extra fruit from backyard trees and vines to share with community groups in need of fresh produce. In the past 21 years, we have picked over 72,000 pounds of fruit and redistributed it to community centres, neighbourhood houses, daycares and other community initiatives. Volunteers make these food recovery and community building efforts possible!

  • Board meetings are held once per month and are open to the public. This year they are taking place at Britannia Community Centre. They typically occur from about April to November of the second Wednesday of the month. Contact [email protected] for details.
